While most normal people would sport comfortable t-shirts, joggers during their pregnancy, Rihanna for sure isn’t one of them, she loves to make a statement by her maternity fashion!
Here is a list of some of the best outfits Rihanna has adorned till now during her pregnancy:
RIHANNA’S MATERNITY FASHION – A THREAD
Rihanna was photographed wearing a small front-tie crop top and baggy blue-wash trousers outside Giorgio Baldi in Los Angeles. She accessorised with a camo baseball cap from Awake NY, a tie-dyed saddle bag from Dior, a vintage ring by Briony Raymond, and tonnes of gold body jewellery, as well as a patchwork denim and leopard-print coat.
Rihanna wore a metallic fringe set by The Attico to a Fenty Beauty Universe event, which included a lime-green backless halter top and ombré silver-and-purple leggings. Chopard amethyst and diamond earrings, Messika diamond rings, gold body jewellery, and Manolo Blahnik sandals completed her ensemble.
Rihanna wore a handmade Alaa leather coat dress in a fiery red colour, paired with custom matching heels from Amina Muaddi, for an early Valentine’s Day outing with A$AP Rocky. Chopard ruby-and-diamond hoop earrings, Maria Tash diamonds, and Jacquie Aiche gold body chains were among the accessories.
Rihanna wore a Balenciaga navy blue bomber jacket with yellow faux-fur trim to support the Los Angeles Rams during the 2022 Super Bowl. A brilliant blue headscarf, a sheer blue button-up, baggy grey pants, and white stiletto heels completed her ensemble. She is accessorised with a pair of white-framed sunglasses, Briony Raymond rings and zodiac medallions, and gold body chains, following the “more is more” attitude.
Rihanna donned a Saint Laurent fuzzy red heart-shaped jacket over a red-and-black Bulls jersey (eagle-eyed fans might recognise the statement coat from a street style look she wore in 2016). She wore brown tapered trousers with graphic patches on one leg to complete the look. A chain necklace and white strappy sandals completed the look.
Rihanna donned a furry dark brown and black leopard-print coat with the bottom zipped open to reveal her baby bump, which was decorated with a gold chain. She completed the look with a black R13 baseball cap and Saint Laurent mink-trimmed leather mules.
Rihanna wore a black latex crop top underneath a fluffy purple fur coat from Gucci’s pre-fall 2022 collection at the Italian fashion house’s autumn 2022 show during Milan Fashion Week. She accessorised the look with a disco-style hat and a bedazzled purple cross pendant from Briony Raymond, as well as a pair of black slacks with a red dragon sticker on one leg from the same collection.
Rihanna wore a black peekaboo minidress to the Gucci after-party, replacing her crop top and low-rise leggings. The translucent dress featured a plunging neckline and dazzling accents of the house’s interlocking G’s design, in addition to the oval-shaped cutout displaying the top of her bump. She completed her ensemble with a pair of Gianvito Rossi custom Montecarlo sandals, a Gucci beaded pocketbook, a diamond cross necklace on a long chain, and her lavender coat from earlier in the evening, which matched her metallic eye shadow.
Maternity dresses have gotten more glamorous in recent years, it must be noted. It is now possible to feel nice and beautiful without reaching the levels of Rihanna’s ultra-sexy ensembles by resorting to specialised brands. And it’s clear that fashion icons and influencers are assisting in this effort.
