Bella Hadid has been in the modeling profession for four years. She has been on the covers of twenty-seven worldwide Vogue magazines. She signed with IMG Models. Bella made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week 2015, after walking for prominent designers such as Anna Sui and Marc Jacobs.
Early life
Isabella Khair Hadid was born on October 9, 1996, at Washington’s MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Her father is a Jordanian Palestinian real estate entrepreneur, while her mother was a former Dutch model. Through her father, she claims ancestry from Daher Al Omer, Prince of Nazareth and Sheik of Galilee.
Hadid has a younger brother, Anwar, and an elder sister, Gigi. Marielle and Alana are their two elder paternal half-sisters. She grew up on a ranch near Santa Barbara before moving to Beverly Hills 10 years later.
Hadid was an equestrian as a youth and hoped to compete in the Olympics in 2016. She later competed in equitation, which is not an Olympic sport. In 2012, Hadid, her mother, and her brother were all diagnosed with chronic Lyme illness.
Hadid graduated from Malibu High School in 2014 and then attended Parsons School of Design to study photography. She dropped out of school to pursue a modeling career. However, she has stated an interest in returning to fashion photography following her modeling career. Hadid also expressed interest in acting.

She walked the Tom Ford Fall/Winter 2015 runway. During New York Fashion Week in late 2015, she walked for Diane von Fürstenberg, Tommy Hilfiger, and Marc Jacobs, and concluded Jeremy Scott’s show. Later that month, Hadid appeared on the cover of Jalouse Magazine for the first time. She was featured in the magazine on day 27 of LOVE Magazine’s Love Advent Calendar. She appeared in the Victoria’s Secret Pink Holiday campaign in August, alongside models Rachel Hilbert and Devon Windsor.
Present
She walked the runways for Redemption, Haider Ackerman, and Off-White at Paris Fashion Week in February 2019. She then walked the runway with Irina Shayk and Joan Smalls for CR Runway’s 90th Anniversary show. She later appeared on the covers of Vogue Russia, Vogue Greece, and Vogue Japan in March. She also graced the pages of ELLE France and ELLE in June. Then, in July, she was featured on the cover of Vogue Espada’s Vogue Spain.
She walked the runways for Tom Ford, Brandon Maxwell, Oscar de la Renta, Rodarte, Khaite, and Michael Kors at New York Fashion Week in February 2020. She was then featured on the covers of Vogue Italia, Vogue Korea, and Vogue Greece in September. Later that month, at the Cannes Film Festival, her Maison Schiaparelli haute couture gown, cut low and wide to show her naked chest, drew a lot of attention. Hadid will walk for Givenchy’s Fall campaign in February 2021.
Spring 2020 Show in Milan
Nobody does the runway like Bella Hadid. The supermodel walked the runway at Versace’s Men’s Spring 2020 show in Milan, making a strong case for the “lingerie with a jacket” combination.
On Saturday, June 15, Bella, her sister Gigi, and Irina Shayk were the only three ladies on the runway. Bella looked stunning in a bedazzled black suit with a black triangle top bra and high-cut bikini bottoms, accented with pointed-toe shoes, a gold choker necklace, and striking gold earrings, and her hair slicked away from her face. Gigi wore a leather trench coat, a shirt and tie, and the same heels as Bella.
If the Versace show is any indication, we’ll all be wearing outfits like this next spring; Bella and Gigi have us ready to hit the stores or whip out the credit card for some internet shopping. A shimmering black blazer is appropriate for almost any activity, from Monday morning class or works to a night out, therefore it’s a must-have item in our opinion.

Of course, it would go viral. On Friday night, the performance at the end of Coperni’s fashion show had many of the internet’s favorite things: an almost nude supermodel, 1990s fashion nostalgia, having a high-ranking member of the Kardashian-Jenner family there to testify.
But, for many in the audience, the prank was also quite spectacular. They stood there for almost nine minutes as a white off-the-shoulder outfit was sprayed onto Bella Hadid’s torso. The material, a unique spray-on fabric produced by the London-based business Fabrican, first resembled spider webs until the fibrous layers thickened, rapidly drying into a pebbled cloth and successfully mummifying the model.
Ms. Hadid’s gown isn’t strictly sellable (or re-wearable, for those who don’t have her exact body dimensions), but Coperni intends to showcase it in its store. The dress could be removed in the same way that any other tight, somewhat flexible garment could: by peeling off and shimmying out. According to Arnaud Vaillant, CEO of Coperni, it may be hung and cleaned or placed back into the bottle containing its original solution to regenerate.

In March 2016, Hadid was crowned “Model of the Year” at the Daily Front Row’s Fashion Los Angeles Awards. In June 2016, Hadid was selected as one of Models.com’s Top 50 Models. In September, she was named “Model of the Year” at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London. In December, Hadid was nominated for the “Model of the Year” and “Social Media Star of the Year” Readers’ Choice awards by Model.com. Professionals in the industry awarded her “Model of the Year.”
