The patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club has temporarily stepped away from her public engagements as she continues to focus on her health, so Wimbledon fans may not be able to catch their usual glimpse of the Princess of Wales this year, but the tournament is already providing spectator entertainment.
During the opening day of the tournament, former world number one Maria Sharapova wore Burberry, while David Beckham opened proceedings in a tailored Boss suit. While her former co-stars from Sex and the City are busy filming season three of And Just Like That, Kim Cattrall, a member of small-screen royalty, made an appearance on Wednesday. She appeared at the All England Club wearing shades and a pink suit.
Stars including Jodie Turner-Smith, Ncuti Gatwa, and Yasmin Finney attended British Vogue’s annual luncheon with Ralph Lauren during the second week of Wimbledon for our friends. Wimbledon 2024 was a display of flawless celebrity flair, as the biggest names in the world came to support their favorite players at the renowned tennis tournament. A-list actors and top-charting bands were among the stylish celebrities showcasing their best looks in the Wimbledon box seats.
Unique Looks
Legendary dancer Grace Jones made one of the most spectacular presentations, arriving at the All England Club in an eye-catching costume. Jones, who is known for her daring and unapologetic style, accessorized her outfit with a plastic wine glass in one hand and a strawberry in the other while sporting an aviator helmet and sunglasses.
A-List Participants
A virtual who’s who of the entertainment world was on the celebrity guest list. At Vogue’s annual Wimbledon lunch, which was sponsored by Ralph Lauren, actors like Jodie Turner-Smith, Ncuti Gatwa, and Yasmin Finney attended. Sienna Miller, Alexa Chung, and Keira Knightley also stylishly interpreted the tournament’s dress code.
Artists were well-represented as well; attendees included Charli XCX, Stormzy, Central Cee, Arlo Parks, PinkPantheress, and AJ Tracey.
Wearing Superstars
Of course, without the presence of tennis royalty, a Wimbledon event would not be complete. In attendance were British rising talent Emma Raducanu, who has become a regular at the tournament in recent years, and former world No. 1 Maria Sharapova.
