Dakota Johnson Turns Heads in Colleen Allen Sheer Floral Lace Dress at “Verity” London Premiere—See Her Daring Look

On Thursday, September 24, 2026, Maison Valentino global brand ambassador Dakota Johnson was photographed arriving at Curzon Mayfair for the UK gala screening of her upcoming psychological thriller, “Verity,” which is set to premiere on October 2, 2026, and is adapted from Colleen Hoover’s 2018 novel of the same name and stars Johnson as Lowen Ashleigh, alongside Anne Hathaway.

At the London premiere of “Verity,” Dakota Johnson once again captivated audiences and set the fashion world abuzz in a Colleen Allen gown fashioned from sheer floral lace, elevated by its sophisticated distressed-knit texture and intricate openwork details throughout. The dress took cues from the designer’s Fall/Winter 2026 ready-to-wear collection, presented during New York Fashion Week, which ran for six days from Wednesday, February 11, to Monday, February 16, 2026.

The dress featured a cap-sleeved bodice that revealed her Fleur du Mal silk satin “Luxe” black triangle bra beneath, along with a plunging V-shaped neckline that formed a wide, flattering frame around her collarbone and a draped shawl collar edged with tiered ruffles. The ensemble also included a flowing skirt that revealed Fleur du Mal silk-blend satin “Luxe Cheeky” briefs and extended to a floor-length hem.

Dakota Johnson, 36, finished her bold London premiere look for “Verity” with a Zoe Lev 14k gold Miami Cuban-link chain anklet and black Giuseppe Zanotti’s black patent-leather “Intriigo” ankle-strap sandals, which complemented her Fleur du Mal lingerie and featured pointed toes and 105-millimeter stiletto heels.

The “Materialists” star also accessorized the look with a Valentino “DeVain” bag in black alligator leather and an assortment of pieces inspired by British fine jewelry houses, including Cece Jewellery and Jessica McCormack. Standout pieces included Jessica McCormack diamond and blackened-gold Gypset hoop earrings, each showcasing two one-carat round brilliant-cut diamonds set in a Georgian-style cut-down setting crafted from 18-karat blackened white and yellow gold.

 

In addition to her earrings, the “Verity” actress wore several pieces by Cece Jewelry, including an 18 ct yellow gold necklace inspired by the Sweetheart collection, featuring flush-set heart brilliant-cut diamonds on a Belcher chain. She paired it with a bracelet from the brand’s The Devil Is in the Details collection, crafted from 18 ct yellow gold with champlevé enamel and suspended from a shimmering diamond tennis chain.

 

The bracelet also featured a hand-painted enamel cluster of red roses, from which a concealed devil’s trident appeared to emerge. It was paired with two rings, including the “He Loves Me” 18 ct gold ring, worn on her right hand and set with a 4.00ct oval-cut diamond in an antique-inspired cut-down setting from Cece Jewellery’s Once Upon A Time collection. On her left hand, she wore the “Apple Of My Eye” 18ct yellow gold ring from the brand’s Extraordinary Lovers collection, featuring a 3.00ct heart-shaped diamond-encrusted fruit bowl filled with grapes, a peach, a pink peony, and a bitten red apple, inspired by Jean-Honoré Fragonard’s painting “The Swing.”
