The collection, which launches in a matter of hours and starts at £40, contains all manner of hoops, ear cuffs, and chain necklaces, all of which suit the minimalist aesthetic of Hamlin’s feed. She describes her style as, ‘all about the basics’: ‘I love a simple jeans with a nice top and then a fun shoe or accessories to build up the outfit. And I love the ’90s for style inspiration – Rachel Green from Friends is so cool.’
Being hands-on with the design side of the collection, Hamlin teamed up with Tada & Toy’s co-founders, Tansy Aspinall and Victoria van Holthe (two school friends), to design each of the 10 pieces. She wanted them to be versatile, above all, and easy to wear. ‘I asked, what would I wear that would be versatile and [something] that anyone could wear: a guy could wear it, girls can wear it, just pieces that are easy, simple, stylish and you can dress up or down. I would love to see if my followers like what I’ve created, I would get the most joy out of seeing them wear my pieces. But if I could have any celebrity wearing my jewellery collection it would be Miley Cyrus. I love her style, especially when she’s performing.’

Each of the pieces from the collection is limited-edition and will only be available to shop for five days at Tada & Toy. Hamlin’s favorites? ‘The Rocky Effervescent Hoops are amazing. You can wear them in the day as a single hoop without the sparkly hoop, then keep that part in your bag and add it on when you go out. I also love the ear cuffs because you can put so many on at once.’

Hamlin says the most special pieces of jewelry she owns (including those from Love Island boyfriend, Eyal Booker) are the ones that have meaning: ‘My boyfriend got me a ring and bracelet and my mum also only gave me a ‘Delilah’ necklace as a gift, which all mean a lot to me. It doesn’t matter how much it costs or where it’s from but it’s a special gift when someone gives you a piece of jewelry.’
‘And this is why sustainability is also important to me when it comes to fashion. It’s important to have pieces you love. The most sustainable way to shop is of course vintage or thrift shopping or if the pieces are made from recycled materials. And I try to look out for these and get them if they’re my style. I love pieces that have a story behind them and [the fact that] no one else will have them.
