Lakme Fashion Week is a bi-annual fashion show which takes place every year in India’s popular places like Mumbai, Delhi, and Maharashtra. The fashion is held twice a year. The summer fashion show is held between February to March while the winter fashion week is held between September to October. It’s a way to enhance the skill of participants and to make them more confident and perfect for the international fashion Organization.
HISTORY OF LAKME FASHION WEEK
Lakme is an Indian cosmetics brand that is popular In the whole world. The brand was founded in 1952 by Indian Unilever. Lakme mostly sells colored and attractive products like lipsticks, eyeliner, and skin care products. Lakme Fashion Week was organized by the Lakme brand with IMG reliance limited. A collaboration between the fashion design council of India (FDCI) and IMG first organized it in 1999 as Lakme Fashion Week in India. The first show was held in Delhi up to 2005.

In the year 2023, Lakme Fashion Week was recently organized it was a four-day event in which more than 20 Indian celebrities participated including Ananya Pandey, Sushmita Sen, Karishma Kapoor, Rakul Preet, Shilpa Shetty, Sara Ali Khan, and many others as well. Ananya Pandey is an intelligent and gorgeous Indian actress who attended the Lakme Fashion Show and did a ramp walk with Aditya Roi, who is also a popular Indian Face. Ananya Pandey wore a purple front cut gown on which many of the squares and hearts are printed by multi-color combinations. She completed this look with dark red Lakme lipstick. While Aditya Roy Kapoor wore a Black coat on which some white lines appeared. Both attires were designed by Manish Malhotra.
Janhvi Kapoor Ramp Walked With her gorgeous look: Janhvi Kapoor, A modern model, and actress who blow her impression on the audition. She wore a black shoulderless pencil gown with a high ponytail and a darkish shade of Lakme eyeliner. She completed it with silver bangles and black little earrings.
Rashmika Mandanna, a South Indian actress who recently debuted in Hindi films came for Lakme Fashion Week. She wore a black and golden shade saree gown with dark black eye makeup. She completed it with a high bun.

Shilpa Shetty, the fitness queen, a popular and one of the highest-paid actresses attended the Lakme fashion week in purple dress. She wore a two-piece attached fitted crop top and jegging pants with a long and loose jacket. She completed it with purple lipstick, free hair, and a single band on her left hand. Shilpa was looking crazy in this attire.
