Excuse Me While I Gush About Starscourge Radahn, Elden Ring Runes Best Character

I’m nearing 60 hours with Elden Ring and, frankly I have no clue as to what’s happening story-wise. Like previous Souls series, this story FromSoftware was created with Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin is a jumble of proper nouns and vague statements. One thing I know is that a boss known by the name General Radhan is perhaps the most memorable player in Souls. He could even be the greatest Souls character of all time.

Okay,, calm down. I’m sure that’s an enormous claim! But please don’t rush me to support the overwhelming fan favorites like Dark Souls pseudo-mascot Solaire of Astora or even Patches the universe-spanning jerk that has appeared in a number of prior FromSoftware games. Although they and other Souls characters are awesome, General Radahn stands ahead of the rest, literally as well as figuratively, thanks his unique style. Elden Ring mixes silly, poignant, and thrilling tales of his life along with a unique boss battle which transforms the game’s world.

At the point you encounter Radahn within Elden Ring, he’s a faint resemblance of the brilliant demi-god-like general who had command of the wartime army following the destruction of the main phenomenon. Radahn was once dragged down in fight by half sister Malenia the Severed. They were affected by The Scarlet Rot, a sickness that transforms its victims into insane ghouls that have one desire that is all-encompassing: to consume all they see. Therefore, Radahn traverses battlefields littered with corpses on the back of a terribly small mare (whose name is apparently Leonard) and is waiting for the day someone strong enough will be able to end his suffering.

Radahn’s official title within the cheap Elden Ring Items is “Starscourge,” and for good reason. At some point in his history, a sorceress whose name Sellen claims that the enormous warrior “challenged the swirling constellations” by themselves. It’s unclear to me what exactly Radahn was able to fight stars, but his victory over celestial bodies is so massive as to keep them frozen within the night sky. “He is the force that repulses celestial bodies,” Sellen adds. “If General Radahn died, the stars would return to their motion.” Simply put, the dude is as strong as a fuck.
