One of the most memorable early fights is against Rathbreaker, the leader of the Hyena Raiders. In the quest “Earning Passage,” you’re tasked with defeating Rathbreaker and proving your strength to the Mariketh Caravan. Here’s everything you need to know to track him down and defeat him.
How to Find Rathbreaker
Rathbreaker is located in the Vastiri Outskirts, the first zone in Act 2. To locate him, follow these steps:
Head to the Map Edges: After entering the Vastiri Outskirts, make your way to the outer edges of the map. Rathbreaker resides in a more isolated part of the area, so the path to him is not immediately obvious.
Look for the Checkpoint: As you explore, you’ll come across a Checkpoint. This Checkpoint will unlock a wider area filled with hostile Hyenas. Once you enter, you’ll find Rathbreaker standing in the center of the area, overseeing his pack.
Climb the Rise: In this area, the Hyenas are gathered around a central rise. Rathbreaker stands at the top, making him easy to spot once you clear the enemies around him.
