Jessie Buckley and Penélope Cruz Shine at “The Bride!” London Photocall

While promoting their upcoming film “The Bride!” in London, England, both performers, Jessie Buckley and Penélope Cruz, made jaw-dropping fashion statements that left the audience in admiration.

On Wednesday, February 25, 2026, Jessie Buckley, a 36-year-old Irish actress and singer, was spotted arriving at the Corinthia London Hotel with Spanish actress Penélope Cruz for a photocall for their upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures horror/sci-fi film “The Bride!” which was written and directed by 48-year-old American actress and filmmaker Maggie Gyllenhaal. This film is an adaptation of the iconic 1935 film “Bride of Frankenstein,” which was based on Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley’s 1818 gothic novel “Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus.”

During the London photocall for “The Bride!,” these two prominent actresses attracted attention with their attire, which celebrated the latest ready-to-wear collections, including Diotima‘s Fall/Winter 2026/2027 line, revealed this month at New York Fashion Week, and Jacquemus‘s Fall/Winter 2026 collection that integrated menswear and womenswear, showcased last month at Paris Fashion Week.

In this blog post, we’ll take a closer look at Jessie Buckley’s and Penélope Cruz’s outfits from ‘The Bride!’ London photocall. Continue scrolling to see how these two celebs stunned the audience while promoting their film.

Our post begins with Jessie Buckley, who received the Leading Actress Award at the 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards event for her performance as Agnes Shakespeare in the Focus Features thriller “Hamnet.”

The Golden Globe-winning actor attended the London photocall for “The Bride!” appearing exquisite in a Diotima ensemble featuring a black long-sleeve scoop-neck top embellished subtly at the neck and shoulders, complemented by feather decorations along the hemline. This look was completed with a multicolored maxi skirt embellished with eye-catching prints—the perfect combination of boldness and grace.

Rachel Scott, the brand’s founder and creative director, designed this ensemble during New York Fashion Week for her “Femme Cheval” Fall/Winter 2026/2027 collection, which was inspired by the work and philosophy of Afro-Cuban modernist painter Wifredo Lam.

Jessie Buckley, who portrays The Bride of Frankenstein in The Bride!, completed her ensemble with black Jimmy Fairly “The Emmy” oval sunglasses, which imparted an aura of mystery and glamour. She also wore Jessica McCormack’s diamond and blackened gold Gypset hoop earrings, featuring two 0.40 ct round brilliant-cut diamonds set in a Georgian-inspired cut-down pattern in 18K blackened white and yellow gold. These earrings undoubtedly provided a superb finishing touch that complemented the occasion.

Not to be outdone, Chanel global ambassador Penélope Cruz, 51, arrived at the Corinthia London 5-star hotel to attend the “The Bride!” photocall.

Penélope Cruz, portraying Myrna Mallow in “The Bride!,” stunned the crowd at the photocall in a black Jacquemus bespoke long-sleeve bustier jersey dress featuring a scoop neck and a dramatic maxi skirt. The skirt was adorned with multiple fabric pieces skillfully cut and crafted into ruffles that cascaded into a striking V-shaped cascade.

This design not only emphasized her figure but also showcased her affinity for contemporary chic styles.

Her style was influenced by the Jacquemus Fall/Winter 2026 ready-to-wear collection, which was presented in January 2026 by the brand’s founder and creative director, Simon Porte Jacquemus, and included both men’s and women’s clothes under the title “Le Palmier” and was inspired by his daughter’s palm-tree ponytail and featured 1950s couture shapes, 1990s sensuality, and 1980s humorous French cinema vibes.

Penélope Cruz finished her stunning appearance with black Amina Muaddi “Ami” suede pumps with pointy toes and the designer’s famous “Martini” 95 mm heel, which exuded confidence with each stride. She also wore Roberto Cavalli white gold topaz chandelier earrings, which featured vivid pearls and teardrop stones surrounded by sparkling crystals, adding a sumptuous touch to her already breathtaking attire.
