Lady Diana Princess of Wales was considered a fashion icon from the day she got engaged to Prince Charles. Her fashion sense and charismatic personality have been in the headlines. She was born on 1 July 1961 in Sandringham in the United Kingdom. She was only 20 years old when she got married to Prince Charles in 1981. Her wedding was hailed as the wedding of the century. Princess Diana never fails to impress with her fashion sense, but one of the most famous dresses was her black dress mainly known as the revenge dress which she wore in 1994 at a dinner in Kensington Gardens. It was an off-shoulder glamorous dress designed by Greek designer Christina Stambolian. It was a kind of uncommon approach to the royal way of dressing, But Diana always choose to be exclusive in her choices.

The grand event of this royal wedding takes place in July 1981. The hype and excitement of this wedding were all around the media. For this big, Diana again chooses to be exceptional in her wedding outfit selection. The dress was designed by David and Elizabeth Emanuel and was kept a secret till the last moment. The dress has a train of 25 feet long and a tulle veil of 153 yards. The huge ball gown was made up of silk fabric. The weight of the dress is estimated at around 20 pounds and carries 10000 pearls sewn into it.

3. PRINCESS DIANA BLUE VERSACE DRESS

Princess Diana wore the iconic ice-blued dress by Versace in 1996 in Sydney for a benefit dinner. Diana looks so exceptional and glamorous in this one-shoulder satin dress with her mini clutch. Gianni Versace was Diana’s go-to designer at that time. It was the dress that even after 20 years looked appealing and different. Her fashion legacy was always beyond time.

4. PRINCESS DIANA MET GALA LOOK

Princess of Wales made her first-ever appearance at Met Gala in 1996 wearing a navy blue silk lace dress designed by John Galliano. Her bold choice of outfit selection made her headlines. She accessorized her dress along with a sapphire necklace and earrings adding elegance to her looks. The gown is now at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
