From Olivia Rodrigo to Sydney Sweeney: Celebs Light Up the Red Carpet in Armani Privé Ensembles at the 5th Annual Academy Museum Gala
The 5th Annual Academy Museum Gala in Partnership with Rolex began last weekend, on Saturday, October 18th, at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, California, and was attended by a number of Hollywood’s most well-known figures. Olivia Rodrigo, Sydney Sweeney, Dakota Fanning, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Kerry Washington were among those photographed on the red carpet, each dressed in jaw-dropping ensembles inspired by Giorgio Armani Privé ready-to-wear runway collections from Spring 1996, Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2004, and Spring 2013, as well as customized pieces.

1. Olivia Rodrigues
First up, Olivia Rodrigo, a 22-year-old American singer-songwriter and actor, attended the 5th Annual Academy Museum Gala in a vintage style which was inspired by the Giorgio Armani Privé Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2004 collection and styled by fashion stylists Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo.

Her look included a white sleeveless beaded gilet with a scoop neckline, a black flower appliqué on the breast, and a wrap-around hem, which she wore with a long black silk satin maxi skirt with a sweeping train.
Olivia Rodrigo, the “Deja Vu” singer, accessorized her appearance with a Giorgio Armani black satin La Prima clutch bag and Chopard high-end pieces, including an ethical white gold ring inspired by the brand’s Cube collection and another inspired by the L’Heure du Diamant luxury jewelry collection.

2. Sydney Sweeney
Sydney Sweeney, Giorgio Armani Privé’s global fragrance and makeup ambassador, also dazzled the audience at the 5th Annual Academy Museum Gala, wearing a custom black velvet gown designed by fashion stylists Molly Dickson and Paige Holtz to highlight her hourglass figure.

Her gown had a backless halter-style top with cutaway accents at the breast, giving it a sharp edge, and a flowing hem that just touched the ground. Sydney Sweeney, 28, completed her show-stopping ensemble with Jimmy Choo black Max sandals, an Armani Privé La Prima soft large tote bag in black velvet, Anayah Jewellery Farisha CZ and green stud earrings, and an Anabela Chan emerald Cinderella ring.
3. Dakota Fanning

Hannah Dakota Fanning, our third star, looked stunning at the 2025 Academy Museum Gala, dressed by fashion stylist Samantha McMillen in a classic costume originally designed by Giorgio Armani Privé for his Spring/Summer 1996 ready-to-wear catwalk collection. This look featured a stunning white sleeveless gown decorated with gorgeous black flowers, a fitted bustier bodice, and a ball-hem maxi skirt.
The actress from Netflix’s “The Perfect Couple” completed her look with a Giorgio Armani “Small La Prima Soft” clutch bag, a stunning necklace, and a bracelet, proving that sometimes less is more.

4. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
Following that, English fashion model and Saint Laurent brand ambassador Rosie Huntington-Whiteley arrived at the 5th Annual Academy Museum Gala wearing a bespoke black sleeveless gown designed by Giorgio Armani Privé and styled by Emma Jade Morrison, oozing sophistication.

Her gown featured a remarkable sheer lace embroidered halter top and a velvet maxi skirt with a subtle train, complemented by Giorgio Armani black platform sandals, a Giorgio Armani Privé “La Prima” black velvet clutch, and Tiffany & Co. accessories, including a necklace inspired by the Blue Book 2023 Out of the Blue high jewelry collection, Schlumberger three-leaf ear clips and matching Schlumberger Cooper bracelets in platinum and yellow gold exemplify her easy grace and sophistication.
5. Kerry Washington

Finally, Kerry Washington, the star of Netflix’s “The Six Triple Eight,” attended the 5th Annual Academy Museum Gala dressed in a throwback ensemble inspired by Giorgio Armani’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection, designed by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn. Her look included a strapless column gown with a beaded bodice in green, blue, and black on the front and a silver metallic back, a silk maxi skirt, and David Webb jewelry like drop earrings and rings.
