On April 20, 2026, Emily Blunt was seen at the red carpet event for the comedy-drama film “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” where she plays Emily Charlton, Miranda’s former first assistant, at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City, alongside co-stars Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Simone Ashley, and Stanley Tucci, as well as guests such as Lady Gaga, Heidi Klum, and Barbara Palvin.

Throughout the “The Devil Wears Prada 2” NYC premiere event, 43-year-old British actress Emily Blunt demonstrated once more that she is a fashion icon capable of commanding the spotlight from the red carpet to the after-party while dressed in runway-inspired Schiaparelli and Balmain looks.

Emily Blunt made a striking entrance at Lincoln Center with her husband, John Krasinski, arriving for a red-carpet event in a breathtaking Defying Gravity ivory gown. The dress—originally worn by fashion model Jeanne Cadieu on the Schiaparelli catwalk for the “The Agony and Ecstasy ready-to-wear collection show—was designed by American fashion designer and creative director Daniel Roseberry during Paris Fashion Week for the Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2026 collections.

The gown featured a sfumato effect, smoothly blending shades and textures. It was completed with a corseted bustier top adorned with 25,000 exquisite silk thread feathers, along with delicate lacing detail secured by gold metal eyelets at the back.

Her dress also featured a voluminous ball skirt, layered with tulle and finished with a dramatic scissor hem, designed to enhance both movement and elegance as she posed for photographers. Emily Blunt, from “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” paired her Defying Gravity haute couture gown with Schiaparelli gold leather heeled sandals. The shoes were thoughtfully enhanced with the brand’s signature tape-measure embroidery.

Let us talk about the accessories she chose to wear on the red carpet at the “The Devil Wears Prada 2” New York City premiere. Emily Blunt chose to adorn herself with pearl pieces designed by the Japanese jewelry brand Mikimoto, drawing inspiration from various collections, including Les Pétales Place Vendôme. The collection includes earrings adorned with 7.5 mm Akoya cultured pearls and 0.72 ct diamonds, all set in 18K pink gold. This was complemented by an 18K pink gold necklace featuring three rows of Akoya cultured pearls measuring 5.5-6 mm and 4.86 ct of diamonds, as well as an 18K pink gold bracelet with three rows of the same size and 2.64 ct of diamonds.

Emily Blunt not only wore accessories from Les Pétales Place Vendôme, but also added several pieces from the Mikimoto Circle collection, including a ring set with a 13 mm white South Sea cultured pearl surrounded by 2.92 ct of diamonds, crafted in 18K pink gold and platinum. She completed the look with another ring from the Mikimoto Cherry Blossom collection, featuring an 11mm white South Sea pearl and 0.14 ct of diamonds in 18K pink gold.

It’s safe to say Emily Blunt’s jewelry choices from Mikimoto were every bit as exquisite as her Schiaparelli couture gown.

Following this, Emily Blunt was also photographed leaving the “The Devil Wears Prada 2” New York after-party, walking hand in hand with her husband, John Krasinski. She presented yet another striking ensemble that earned widespread admiration.

For her second appearance, the actress from “The Smashing Machine” wore a complete ready-to-wear runway look, modeled by Elise Kouzou, from the Balmain collection. The collection was designed by French fashion designer and creative director Antonin Tron for Paris Fashion Week’s Womenswear Fall/Winter 2026–2027 season in March 2026.

The outfit featured a navy blue long-sleeve turtleneck bodysuit with exaggerated padded shoulders, a high-waisted sheer maxi skirt with eye-catching gold floral jacquard, and a daring thigh-high side slit that accentuated her long legs and made her stand out at the after-party. Emily Blunt replicated her after-party appearance precisely as it was presented on the runway by wearing black sheer polka-dot tights, ankle-strap sandals coordinated with her purse, and Juju Vera Nani drop earrings adorned with elongated onyx beads and 14K gold-plated detailing.
