The pink carpet at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards was graced by a number of celebrities. The event took place at the Prudential Center on Tuesday night, September 12th, in New Jersey, and Taylor Swift received the most nominations and was the leading nominee with 11 nods. Shakira and Sean Combs were honored with the Video Vanguard Award and the Global Icon Awards; Ice Spice for Best New Artist; and Rema and Selena Gomez for Best Afrobeats.
