How important is energy efficiency when buying an entry door?
We’re looking into replacing our front door before cold weather sets in, but my partner thinks spending extra on high insulation ratings is unnecessary for Vancouver winters since it rarely freezes for long periods. Is an energy-efficient entrance slab actually worth the higher price tag, or do people mostly buy them just for the cosmetic upgrade?
