Emily Blunt Steals the Show in Tamara Ralph Couture at “The Smashing Machine” Venice Film Festival Premiere
The 2025 Venice Film Festival (82nd annual Venice International Film Festival) opened in magnificent style on the Italian island of Lido di Venezia for eleven consecutive days (Wednesday, August 27th to Saturday, September 6th, 2025), and it featured several celebrities, including Emily Blunt, who dazzled both the fashion and film industries with her breathtaking appearances in Schiaparelli and Tamara Ralph Couture costumes accented with Tiffany & Co. pieces while promoting the premiere of “The Smashing Machine” ahead of its release.
Emily Blunt, a Yves Saint Laurent and Tiffany & Co. brand ambassador, arrived at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival on day seven, Monday, September 1st, 2025, to promote the new A24 sports drama film “The Smashing Machine,” in which she plays “Dawn Staples” with American actor, film producer, and professional wrestler Dwayne Johnson. While promoting it, Emily Blunt, “The Smashing Machine” star, demonstrated her fashion sense in jaw-dropping costumes such as Tamara Ralph Couture, which impressed the audience and fashion enthusiasts, especially when she walked the red carpet.

Emily Blunt attended the premiere of “The Smashing Machine,” adorned in a Tamara Ralph Haute Couture ensemble curated by stylist Jessica Paster, drawing inspiration from Tamara Ralph’s “La Perle Rare” ready-to-wear collection showcased during Paris Fashion Week for Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2025/2026 on July 7, 2025.
This design featured a long silver strapless silk mesh gown that drew everyone’s attention and sparkled brightly under the ceremony lights, adorned with glittering sequin crystals gently laced throughout the body. The gown had striking details that distinguished Emily Blunt as she walked and posed for photographers on the red carpet of The Smashing Machine” Venice Film Festival, including a large molded silk crystal teardrop at the off-the-shoulder neckline, a sculptural bodice that accentuated her figure, another large molded silk crystal teardrop on the right hip, and a dropped ruched floor-length skirt.
Emily Blunt from “The Devil Wears Prada 2” accessorized her Tamara Ralph Couture ensemble with René Caovilla bespoke lace-up strappy sandals that had platform toes and a long block heel, which added height and sophistication to her overall look.

Finally, Emily Blunt enhanced her overall look by selecting accessories inspired by the Blue Book 2024: Tiffany Céleste collection, which she had attended as a Tiffany & Co. brand ambassador the prior year in Beverly Hills, California, alongside Anya Taylor-Joy, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Gal Gadot, Gabrielle Union, Quinta Brunson, Laura Harrier, Lori Harvey, and others. These accessories comprised Ray of Light drop earrings in platinum and 18K gold, featuring sparkling pear-shaped pink spinels weighing over 4 carats and elegantly enhanced by a cluster of glittering diamonds, as well as a ring with the same gorgeous embellishments.
